The south aisle of the Church of Saint Martin proudly displays a top piece of the Flemish Community:Saint Roch appointed by Christ as Patron of Plague Sufferers by Peter Paul Rubens. Discover everything about the work, its creator, patrons, surroundings and historical context in the company of a guide.
We will start the tour with a visit to Aalst’s great market, from where we will take a leisurely stroll to the Church of Saint Martin to lock eyes with the masterpiece.
The tour will take about two hours.
